ethanol use
Chemical process whereby the glycerin is separated from the fat or vegetable oil is called as  transesterification. Biodiesel has lower emissions and biodiesel is made from the renewable resources.B factor shows the amount of bio diesel in the given fuel mix similarly to BA factor which is used for ethanol mixes. Pure biodiesel without blending petroleum is labeled as B100. If the fuel contains 40 percent biodiesel then it is called as B40. Pure biodiesel (B100) can be used in any petroleum diesel engine
BIODIESEL
Homepage
Biodiesel is the form in which vegetable oils and animal fats are used as renewable diesel fuel as described by Kral, and Nerpen. or, Biodiesel is the name of a clean burning alternative fuel, produced from domestic, renewable resources such as vegetable oil.

Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but it can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel
blend. It can be used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with little or no modifications. Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics.defined by the Board of Biodiesel. It may be created as  pure biodiesel fuel or in blends with petroleum-based diesel fuels. In both cases biodiesel represents a positive alternative to fossil fuels. The information here basicly learned from the Handbook of Biodiesel written by  Nerpen and Kral. It is a comprehensive handbook  where you can find all aspects of biosel.
